Milplex Circuit (Canada) and Laird Technologies Ink Agreement:
Monday, July 13, 2009
Milplex Circuit (Canada)
Inc. has entered into a fabricator agreement with Laird
Technologies Inc. of Chesterfield, Missouri.
Under terms of this agreement,
Laird has approved Milplex. for fabricating printed
circuit boards with Laird's products. These materials
include the T-preg line of thermally conductive
electrically insulating pre-preg, the T-lam PP thermally
conductive pre-preg, and the T-lam SS single-sided
insulated metal PCB substrate. Double-sided and
multilayer circuits that incorporate Laird's thermally
conductive PCB materials are suitable for applications
with high operating temperatures and high voltage
withstand properties.
According to Greg Smith, Milplex
Circuits' Director of
Sales and Marketing, "This is an excellent move for us
at Milplex. Because of the increase in the amount of
Laird thermal products we are using, it was the right
time to formalize our agreement. Our plan is to increase
our T-lam business to the point where we are considered
true experts in this area. That's why signing this
agreement works for us. We also have a tremendous amount
of respect for Laird as a company and for their
products, which makes partnering with them in this way
very attractive to the entire team at Milplex."
